Our Hearts Go Out To The Gulf Coast

Aug. 28, 2017

Our hearts go out today to our friends and neighbors in Houston and the Gulf Coast as they deal with the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. We pray for those who have been lost and the families and businesses who will have to rebuild. In time, we know Texas will rebound – that is the spirit of the Lone Star State.

The City of Dallas is making plans to house up to 5,000 Gulf Coast residents at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas and will be ready to take in evacuees tomorrow. We are committed to doing whatever it takes to accommodate our fellow Texans in need.

Current shelter operations should not affect events or shows currently booked. We want to reassure all clients that we are working to ensure the smallest amount of impact possible, and groups currently in house have been gracious and amenable to assisting us with making the space work for both needs.

We are proud of our state and know that Texas will come together to support our neighbors in Houston and the Gulf Coast in the tough weeks and months ahead.
