Top 5 Things to Do for Mother's Day in Dallas

Mark your calendars for Mother's Day on May 12. If there were ever a year to shower her with all the love and attention she deserves, it is this year. 1. Embark on a Heart-Pumping Run (or Walk) With Your Mom

Run, jog or walk through the scenic Hillcrest neighborhood in a timed 10k, 5k or Kids K run. A virtual option is also available for those who feel more comfortable running without a group. The family-friendly activity starts at 8:00 am.

Stop by Shug's Bagels after the race to replace all those carbs you just burned off. The uber-popular shop sells some of the best Bagel & Lox, cream cheese and bagel sandwiches in town. The Sunday morning line for bagels usually stretches down the block, so make sure you have some post-race snacks handy to hold you off until you get that piping-hot bagel.

2. Make Your Own Terrarium
