6. Watch the best of wrestling

  • Taking over AT&T Stadium for two days, wrestling fans can watch countless smackdowns April 2-3 at Wrestlemania. If you didn't get enough, follow up the fun on the following night (April 4) for Monday Night Raw at the American Airlines Center. 7. Catch a Game

  • Spring is the season of sports! With too many games to count (outside of football, of course), all sports fans can see as many games as they'd like. Your choices include hockey games with the Dallas Stars, Texas Rangers, volleyball's Athlete's Unlimited Championship, FC Dallas, Dallas Jackals and the Dallas Mavs. Stay Downtown for a central location to take in all the action. 8. Check out Spring Markets and Festivals

  • Support small business and local makers at Boho Market at Victory Park. This market has free admission, is pet friendly and don't worry - has plenty of parking.
  • Farmer's Market at the Sound is a family-friendly open-air market every Thursday evening which features food and produce vendors as well as artisans and crafters.

9. Watch a movie in the park

  • Who doesn't love outdoor movie season? Movies in the Park features classic films on the Samuell-Grand lawn. Screenings will take place at 8:15 p.m each night. Gates open at 7:30 p.m and seating is on a first come, first served basis.

 

10. Run through West Dallas

  • Challenge your fitness level as you get a different view of the city by running the Skyline Half Marathon, 10k and 5k. Runners will be challenged with courses that take them over bridges and through West Dallas neighborhoods. Celebrate at the finish line with beer, a DJ and a fun after party in the Trinity Groves area.

11. See Dallas in bloom

  • Just minutes from Downtown Dallas on the shore of White Rock Lake you can find the Southwest's largest outdoor floral festival! Soak in the sun, sights, sounds and scents of spring at the Dallas Arboretum's spring feature: Birds in Paradise.

12. Drink like a Texas
